Is the neutral light supposed to come on every time i pull the clutch in?

it comes on just fine when in neutral AND every single time I pull the clutch in... like when I shift.

This proves VERY annoying at night.

    Thanks all!

It should only come on when in Neutral.
It should not light when the clutch is pulled in and the bike is in gear.

I'd suspect a bad diode block.

Nuetral.. in Gear.. Nuetral.. In Gear.. I can see how that might be annoying. Got to fix my Nuetral light. It is always on. But I think that is better than off and on all the time.

ahhh, i should have looked a little closer at the electrical diagram. Thanks Paul. I'll have to check out the diode. Usually located behind the headlight?
