Sooo... the bike has had some down time as a result of some "cosmetic upgrades" utilizing the 750 bike I got for parts. I'm waiting on an LED brake light because I ditched the banged up sporty fender I cut up for the bobbed look... Still didn't get it, and I'm sick of waiting for things, so I made a brake light utilizing a banged up turn signal housing, the red plastic from the stock light, a grinder, some epoxy, and ingenuity just to get the bloody thing on the road for the weekend.

So tonight, I fire it up, and my new mac exhaust is leaking... minor leak at the weld... why? I do not know. I will patch that up... On the other side, however, the 4th cylinder is playing dumb. I can physically feel it go in and out going down the road. Pilot Circuit? Anything else I should try before peeling the mother loving carbs off again? Before she hit the "shop" for a couple weeks, the carbs were rebuilt, colortuned, synced, and the plugs looked good... obviously, I haven't had time to go through that again, but something had to happen, right?

Update... just threw a colortune on it before bed... no flame, until I get the rev's going... then it will fire. The mixture screw is useless.

reclean the pilot circuit. I used the old earwax washball and flushed it out with CRC brake clean ( it is rubber safe)after undressing all of the ports and passages. I then reflushed the carb fuel passages and replaced the fuel filter with a fresh micron filter.
