Do I have to disassemble the entire front end to remove the ignition switch? They really made it hard to get to it, which is really silly, considering that all have to do is remove the headlight bezel to hot-wire the bike. It's like putting a pad-lock on a piece of string. Anyway, is there a way to replace the switch without removing the front end entirely?

I've snuck in there with a long ¼" extension and socket to remove the bolts before. You still have to open up the headlight bucket to unplug it. Removing the 2 side bolts and adjustment bolt that hold the headlight in place make it that much easier to access the switch bolts.

Worse case you pull the headlight; but if you unbolt it as Richard suggests and let it "flop" forward you should have plenty of access.

Thanks. I figured it out. It wasn't so bad. I just had to go buy a 1/4" ratchet and extension. Took the headlight off and had all the access I needed.
