There ain't even 400 Miles on the Bike.
    OMG!
I could make that little scratch disappear with Hobby-Shop Paint and a Air Brush.

That was a good starting price.
I bet the guy gets somebody too give him 22, maybe 22-50 or more.

I'll put the XJ Bikes ---> Over / Under at 2-Grand. I'm betting the OVER!

2,500 and no more, even if for the motor alone.

That has to be the same bike I posted a craigslist link to on here the other day.
    http://xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=19187.html

It's in the same city , and just a few more miles on it now. (he did say he rode it since then) I saw the craigslist ad was gone, and wondered if it was sold or not.

I can't remember what the asking price was on Craigslist, now. It was underpriced, I remember that much.

The auction ended with the reserve unmet. The high bid was only $1275.00. I'm not a cruiser guy myself, but I'm surprised there wasn't more interest, given the quality of these bikes. Of course, you have to be over 45 years old to know firsthand how good an investment a (basically) new '82 XJ is, so that kind of cuts down on the pool of ardent suitors.
Keep an eye on fleaBay. This bike will likely be posted again, and somebody's gonna get a nice ride for short money.
