Hey i went on my first ride yesterday with my dad's biker group. It was fricken awesome, his group is called the Bark Ass Bikers and they are just a great bunch. His one friend Tunz is the only person i have ever seen that rides with only one leg. We rode all throughout Chatsworth NJ and went to two big biker bars, one is called Hedger House and it a real dirty ass hole in the ground biker bar (f***in awesome). I mean Hell's Angels the whole works. There were seven of us and we did about 100 miles. I gotta tell you though, even though my engine is only about half the displacement of the ones on all of thier Harleys i kept up with them with no prob.

    Sounds like a good time!

I had a coworker named Rick that rode a harley with two prostetic legs(below the knees), He's probably the most determined person I've ever seen. He doesn't even use a handicap parking space!

He told me a story about a time that he was cruising down the highway and his left leg fell off. He was in fifth gear, and couldn't shift or put the stand down. He said that as he was sitting there, on the shoulder, trying to figure out what to do, an old couple pulls up behind him and the lady says " Honey, did you loose this?" holding his leg out the window of the car, boot and all!

    Matt.

100% true as well! You can't make stuff like that up.

I think it's cool when people don't let things like that hold them back!
