    G,day all

Had painted '80 XJ650 my barrels with hi-temp paint and was cureing the paint as recommended on the can, 200 deg.C, for 30 mins. Decided to use the BBQ this time,as the wife wasn,t too impressed with the smell I left in the kitchen last time Not keeping as close a check on temps as I might have, the temp. got closer to 240 deg.C As you can see(if uploaded) I,d sat the barrels upright, and just their weight was enough to push the liners out. They were quite loose and were easily pushed back in with a piece of wood. So lessons learnt, 1........ if I ever need re-sleeve,then...... . 2, place barrels upside down on BBQ rack

    Cheers, Murray
