The 14mm ColorTune Plug we all desire ... is On Sale RIGHT NOW!

You betcha ... I ordered mine. Oh, yea ... I know what you're thinkin' ...

But, RickCo ... you're our "Old School Method's Guy." You'll actually have a High-tech tool in your ToolBox, now.

It takes about 45-minutes to 1 hour "Tweaking and farting-around getting just the right mixture for a nice ... "shift into neutral and show-off with your hands on-your-hips, smooth as silk -- idle.

It took me 20-minutes to do my Max. And, I dilly-dallied with it ... like you'd have to do "Old School" all freakin' day ... but, without all the fuss.

So, here's the LINK ... and, my testimonial.

    "ColorTune? Wicked awesome!"

Anyone have any experience with Colortune adapters? I've been looking for a 12mm Colortune, and its doesn't seem as readily available. I could order it directly from Gunson, or am I just as well off ordering a 14mm with an adapter from the above linked site (and saving a few bucks)?

I have a 14mm with a 12mm adapter and find it works fine. Advantage is I can use one colourtune in more than one bike.(XJ550 12mm ,XS1100 14mm) The adapter is sufficient to do the job.

I didn't even think of that, isn't it some kind of biblical parable: Give a man a 12mm Colortune and he can tune the bike he has today, give a man a 14mm Colortune (with adapters) and he can tune his bikes for a lifetime (as long as they have carbs).

Yes ... It is written in The Gospel according to RickCo ... Exjays Chapter 82 Verses 650 > 750

"Man shall render unto Tech until he is Baptized with the Power to tune. Henceforth, he shall do thy own tuning, until the internal flame is that of the color of the sky.

When man follows the path of the righteous and sees the blue sky within the souls of beasts ... Heaven will welcome him with that which is true; and forsake the curses of all false idles."

Ah shucks ... thanks a bunch. I have to write in various styles to fit the personalities of the people I make-up for short stories and the screen play I have been inching-out for the better part of a decade. The script needs to be re-worked as technology changes. Since you don't have to pull-over and stuff dimes in the pay phone, anymore ... I have to re-write the section where he's at the phone booth, calls-in a story, and the newsroom wants him to give an on-the-air, live report ... opening the door for him to become a reporter. I'm modeling the hero after me. So, since phone booth's are extinct; that should give you an idea why the stuff I'm contributing to this forum is under the umbrella of: "The Old School Method." I attended Old School for three terms: Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon's !!!

OK-I ordered mine. I've always been an EGA guy (exhaust gas analyzer), had access to the analyzer at the shop I used to work at. However, I'm ready to try something I can use anytime in my garage. Can't wait to tune my (new) Seca 750 with the colortune. Just ordered a MAC 4-1 megaphone system. Should be interesting with the colortune...

I used to be "Old School " too, but after using a ColorTune I found that I can tune like I have a gas analizer for a fraction of the cost...and just as good too!!

I mentioned my colortune to a couple of the mechanics where I work who work on motorcycles alot, and they never heard of such a thing.
After seeing it work EVERYONE has been convinced!

I don't mean to seem like I'm endorsing this but I AM sold!

"Old School", is a pain in the $@&
