    * Pics coming tonite*

I bought the bike for 200 bucks plus a Wii (which I won) and my old laptop (have a new one, so this has no use)

I drove a ways away... I got home at 1:15 am.
The guy was very comical to say the least... he's as ghetto as ghetto gets.

But most of the bike looks like new... its in very good shape... from his CL pics, it looked liek the pipes wre rusty, well they're not, perfectly good.

When i got home I noticed some bad things, A) the 28 year old tire was flat B) something was used to remove the clear coat or something on the tank, it feels really rough... i thought maybe he sanded it down and tried to paint it, but then I felt a spot where the clear coat was still thereC) small dent in tank D) at one point i nthis bikes life, it had to have been laid down on the left side, left blinker is kinda broke, tank has like some welds or soemthing done to it and the side cover is a little messed up

But the bike looks new, everything still has a shine to it, its all clean, still has the origional tool kit.
So ill post up pics tonite.... after i go to my friends house... cuz thats qwhere its parked (my parents know nothing about it yet)

    List to do
    1. Clean Callabrators (HAHA)
    2. Check Brakes, get back with u on that one
    3. Change engine oil and filter
    4. Change Air filter
    5. Change shaft oil
    6. Clean and Polish

Welcome back sounds like a good find. Check the rear brake for delamination. Of course fuel filter and new fuse box.

Good deal! However that's just starter list of all you're really going to need. The 750 SECA is a screamer, and a great highway bike too. Sounds like cash is rare mineral in your pockets, (I should talk!) best of luck for your project.

Congratulations schooter! The fluids are cheap so begin there. Who knows about the carbs you might get lucky and find out that the guy stored it properly - put a gallon of gas in it after you change the oil and see if it will start.

PLEASE do not ride attempt to ride the bike until you have replaced BOTH of those tires... If memory serves me correctly the add said that they were original?

The battery from your CB750 should fit so let the Yamaha borrow it

no, the bike runs fine.... well i take that back... it runs... but she needs a carb cleaning, which im workin on... got two bowls in pristine condition... gonna work o nthe next 2 tomorrow or sometime.. and work on the hats too whenever i get the chance
got some shell rotella t 15w-4 to put in there, jsut need a filter,

I've noticed some cool and bad things
i learned why the saginaw deja vu is dark, it makes the ugly girls prettier... just like buying a bike close to midnight does... makes it prettyer... Theres more rust o nthe exhaust then i thought (still not alot), theres rust on the front fender, but not alot. The tank is weird, still scratching my head on it
the goods: tearing apart the bike, she's NEW, everything looks clean and rust free (for the most part), only paint missing and some rust forming is on the swingarm...it still has the origional tool kit.... AND a bike lock that uses the bikes key to lock and unlock it... never heard of such a thing
but the bike will really clean up nice...
about money being a rare mineral....sorta... i tend to get paid 2-3 times a year from the farm... so im living off a set amount of money for months at a time...

Reminds me of my find - '81 seca 750. High school buddy's son owned it, but would ride it since ran off the road. Buddy suggested the bike was in great condition - for a 28 year old bike, I guess. Buddy gave me the bike free - gave him some money because he put in new battery and helped get it running. New exhaust and some minor work. Buddy cleaned the carbs, but need sync'ing. Should put new tires on and speedo doesn't work. Im considering going with something newer. Likely put it up for sale after I purchase newer bike. Anyone interested? Love the bike, just not sure I have the time energy into it.
