My brakes recently started grabbing the wheel even when I wasnt pulling the front brake, and it was usually about 10 minutes into my ride. The front brakes became smoldering hot, and would catch with the wheel so much that I had to bring it about 5,000 rpm just to get it rolling. Since then, we have replaced the master cylinder, both rotors and the brake lines. Now that we have replaced the brake lines, we've bleeded the fluid several times through the lines and it appears that there is no air in them, although the front brake lever has no resistance to it and doesnt activate the brakes at all. Any suggestions on why this wouldnt be working? Thanks guys

New Master Cylinder or rebuilt your MC? Sounds like the small return port could be clogged up and you are not developing any pressure.

If you got a maxim kit in a seca master cylinder, they won't build pressure. The parts are slightly smaller...

    Test the Master Cylinder.
See if its capable of generating Hydraulic Pressure.
Take out the Banjo Bolt and PLUG the MC Output after bleeding a few pulls of the lever.
With the MC Plugged ... try the Lever.
See if it will develop pressure.

Look at the MC Reservoir and see if Fluid is "Squirting-Up" out of the Bore Fill Hole.

If the MC is putting-on a show like you own little "Old Faithful" ...
The MC Seals are leaking-by and the MC needs to be rebuilt.
