I just don't get this. I've had carbs sonically cleaned and rebuilt. replaced ignition coils, new plugs etc. Bike runs every now and then on 3 pots. Goes BANG and shoots flame out of exhaust after I stop trying to turn it over. Could it be a timing issue ? Pick up coils ? or have the carbs been rebuilt incorrectly ?

I'm really hacked off now, just want the damn thing running.............

    what bike are you riding?
what do you mean by 3 pots?
it could be the sensor by the crank going bad. the name is slipping me now, but it controls the timing of the spark.

this is all dependent on the year/model of your bike

if you have replaced the coils and wires and have verified fuel, you will need to look at the rest of the ignition system. sounds like it's timing is off. not too sure on that bike, but I am pretty sure it uses a crank sensor to determine spark timing.
