I was out riding the other day and the guy that behind me noticed that my break light was staying on. After messing around a little bit we figured out that the switch for the front break is the problem. If I push the break lever away it goes out. There is some up and down play in the lever also...is this normal? How hard is it to replace the switch if that is what I need to do. Thanks in advance everyone!

Just be careful that you don't B-R-E-A-K anything when you are checking out your B-R-A-K-E switch.

    No screw adjustment.

You need to pull the lever off and have a look at it. Make sure the hole the pivot bolt goes through is still round. If it's worn the lever might not press the switch.

    Check for gunk.

Make sure the switch hasn't been Kentucky engineered by a PO.
