holy cow does that look clean...

im not sure on the color (for ME) it looks like Dodges B3 (?) that Richard Petty used to paint his stock cars (before the orange and blue combo)...

something about the black out with the blue leaves me with something missing but i DO like the bike. what a huge hole there is after you take off the auxillary light and the square light with the horn enclosure underneath and the gauge package!

i like the gaiters on the forks...

    good job executing this remake...

Polock, I like the blue but dont cheasy it up by painting bolt heads and bar clamps with it - save the black for them. Same thing goes for the back fender and the back grab rail.

Are you leaving the motorcross bars on there or are they temps?

Dave, i got that color from a toyota fj, voodoo blue but the paint stores book also called it bright blue
i think it's missing something too but i need something to do this winter

rpgoerlich, i tried to use the original but it took 5 lbs of steel to mount, that one is from a box at the bone yard marked R6/YAM...?
    gators are from e-bay

rob, when i come home from the paint store somethings getting painted !
that fender liner was it, the plastic part is in the can
MX bars stay, i just like the way they feel

Very nicely done Polock! The blue is gorgeous. Is the frame gray? Powder coated, painted?

BTW, if you want to paint more blue on it just give it a go! Blue is always good!

I like the look of the tube hanging off the side, definitely keep that! :p

Seriously though, I wish I could do something like that! (not the tube, the refurbishing lol)

so why the textured side covers again? Expecting some wear?
