My master cylinder crapped out on my 80 Max650, and I was wondering if anyone on here has played around with an aftermarket one at all? another reason I was thinking about something other than stock, is because the bars I put on put the reservoir at a weird angle. Also, I am using bar-end mirrors now so I don't need the mirror holes anymore.

So, what's everyone using if they're not using stock?

I'm running one from a 250 ninja. Any will work as long as it's got a 7/8" clamp. Also want to stick with one for single (or dual) caliper setup. Whatever is currentl on your bike - stick with it.

But you can run any JAP master really. I would look at a remote resevior master if I were you (any late model sports bike have them). That way you can mount the res at whatever angle you like to suit your bars.
