It's irritating enough that it has issues with the kickstand on my bike. NOW it's decided the battery warning needs to flicker in and out. The PO said it did it on him and he changed the battery. I've had the bike over a month and this is the first time I've had problems with the BATT WARNING. The battery is fine, fully charged and has no problem getting the bike started. I'll check for a loose wire this coming weekend but it seems there are some glitches involved with the WARNING system. Anyone else have this sort of problem?

Check the electrolyte level, especially in the cell that has the sensor in it... Top off with distilled water if it's low. It's also possible that the sensor itself has had it, and needs to be replaced...

Thanks I'll do that. :) Do you have any idea what the availability of the sensor is?

^ You can probably get the sensor from any salvage yard...they were pretty much universal between all Yamahas that had the battery warning system of that era. Or you also get it fron bike bandit for about $25.

Well I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. The longer I own "WyldMax" and the longer I'm on the forum, I'm starting to see some common glitches. LOL

    Hey Guy!!
I had the same problem with my 1100.I found both brake fluid sensors were bad. Maybe due to the bike sitting for years. They are pretty pricey to replace. I believe the 1100 has the same brake system and monitor or close to the 750. I bypassed my brake fluid sensor by connecting the two wires that go to the rear M/C and then the front wires. The light is out. I always keep a close eye on all of my fluid levels, so I'm not worried about that warning light. I just didn't like it on all the time.

I keep a close watch on my bike as well. Sometimes I think my biggest gripe about WyldMax is that it has TOO many gadgets.

Hey Wyld, Chacal stocks the sensor and you can also build a bypass for it. Pics in my gallery.

One other question, does it do any harm to just keep riding "as is" until I get the situation squared away? Other than possibly burning out the warning light what harm can it do?
