Oil Coolers

    I'm putting lots of miles on my Seca 650 these days, many of them in high heat and/or heavy traffic. Is an oil cooler a worthwhile addition? On one hand, it's a failable system on an otherwise bulletproof bike. On the other hand, I feel like keeping the blood temperature down on my daily commutes and long weekend rides might be a good idea. Any thoughts?

    Best I can suggest is keep an eye on ebay and/or do some serious surfing. You'll be looking for one that came off a LJ model (Seca Turbo).

    Jpburger, we do have new and good used adapter plates available for the XJ600 model, which I believe is what you are looking for (XJ550 models never used oil coolers in North America).
