    pulled apart some grungy nasty hitachi carbs from the parts bike and found plastic 122.5 mains in them, three or four squirts of carb cleaner and they were as clean as could be
    wonder why they use brass now?

    huh... weird, they probably strip easy, and some plastics deteriorate over time. but who knows, maybe they come out easier than bras, wouldnt surprise me at all
