Battery mod for XJ750 - stop w/ the idiot light already

    I put a new 'plug & play' battery in my Dad's Maxim 750 last week - and there's no place for the male bullet connector to connect to. So everytime I start the bike and it goes through its checklist, I get the 'battery' warning indicator. Yes, I can turn off the flasher, but is there a particular mod I can do to fool the bike into thinking the battery is just fine?
