well, today i had a chance to get a 77 750 triple. decent shape and came with extra parts. only bad thing is that second gear is bad but it's kinda offset by the sweet deal of 100 buck that i paid which included delivery to my door! well, here she is,

ya, rear signals need fixed, they're in holes but from other pics it looks like there should be a signal bar on the plate mount, off to ebay. needs fork seals and i just found an easy fix (crossing fingures) for the second gear by removing/ moving a shim to where the later models had 2 and my year only has one. same as the chain guide on the shaft drive xj's. there's the patch and then there's splitting the case. but ya other than that it just needs a little wash and wax. Oh and from experience on the maxim i took a peek and those sneeky yamaha people used the same crappy fuse style and one's starting to split apart. i just relized though, now with two bikes i'm gonna have to ride twice as much lol.
