    Hi....

    Well I messed up the wiring harness on my lefthand control, i can get it to work for now, but if anyone has an extra one they'd like to get rid of. I think it has to be for an '80 or maybe an '81.

    has that got the choke cable lever underneath? as im missing mine?

    Yes the choke cable is integral to the control.

    I appreciate the thought and the heads up, but I dont know if Yamaha was that standard on its wiring harnesses and Im still a little gun shy from the 'fix the wiring' fiasco I just went through :eek:
