I've just cleaned and reassembled the carbs and was going to reinstall them tomorrow at some point. Does anyone have any tips or things I should check first..IE: Bench synch or float test? Can't find anything about bench sych or float testing off the bike. Any tips on getting the carb rack back in easier would help too. After this task I have to flush out the gas tank but it has a fuel pump. Any ideas there?

    Thanks guys!

You should bench sync the carburetors.

The fuel pump will only run for a few seconds if the bike isn't running, hard to pump out that way.

Thanks MiCarl! I will bench sync the carbs today. The Float level test on this bike sounds like a major task, since you have to completely dismantle the rack again to get the float bowls off!!!

Mine are apart, I was thinking of wet-setting them individually while the "rack" is broken. I would adapt clear hose into the drain somehow, and keep the carb level.

Question- - how far up the carb should the fuel level be?
