STARTING PROBLEMS

    Hi everyone

    My bike is running good now but when it is cold and sometimes when not completely warm it will barely start and stall unless I have it on 1/4 throttle and rev it for a few seconds. I would like to just hit the starter and it would start with out the throttle. This is the way it ran before I cleaned the carburetors and adjusted the floats. Aside from that it runs great.

    jamings, seems you may have the preverbial dirty enrichment circuit problem which will cause poor starting. Check in the faq suggestion forum for cleaning the enrichment circuit, Gamaru did a great job on this how to & it includes some video. Give that a try & let us know how it works for you.
