After a constant rain checked out how my XJ is doing inside the shed, there was lots of moisture over the tank engine everywhere...thinking of making a DC powered venting fan for the 10 X 8 shed..possibly with timer..any ideas if xperts have been on this road.thanks

Never had this problem but I have an alternate idea if you have 120V near by:

Hang a 60 watt light bulb under it.

I would go with the fan rather than the light.
You sure the roof's not leaking?

I would cover the floor in a plastic sheet and install a vent in the roof.

    You need airflow

Thanks for input guys..No leaks on roof..as did some caulking n checked out after rain. The floor is wood plywood (new) n below that is lumber frame with sod fill underneath. I am trying not to drag a electrical line. More interested in putting a DC vent fan like computer venting fan(but bigger) question is about timer possible..??

Make it a solar powered vent and timer will take care of itself.
