Thought he was a man, but he only was a Puffin. He hangs out at the muffin utility research kitchen, likes to stuff things inside his shirt.

wera90ex......you should take your question up the steps to xj chat or general lounge, coz it will just get lost in the basement in test zone. Looks like a sears to me?

I'm moving this to the XJChat forum. Let me know if this causes any grief.

Not Yamaha, not Vetter, not Rifle. Strongly suspect EMGO or some smaller aftermarket company of the day. What you call a "period accessory" like Vetter fairings or my GSM luggage rack on my 550.

Thanks Robert, No grief here. Just a bit busy. It's time to work on my toys.
Bought this thing with 8200 on the clock from a nieghbor. Looked pretty sad at first but after doing the brakes, forks, fuse box, battery and carbs I got to put about a thousand miles on it. Think I have about one more ride this season and then it's this years winter project.

Fitz, Didn't know that EMGO went back that far. But the finish of the fairing does remind me of some of the early Vetters. Looks like they put the mat on before the gel coat was dry. Anyway thanks for the input. RG

The outer lines look close to a Laminar fairing that was on the Seca 750 I had. Mine sat on top of the Aux light and his surrounds it.

I think I found it. I believe it's an Action Fiberglass fairing. I went on the Gustofson Plastics of St. Augustine web site and did a search. Looks like they've moved into truck caps since the 80's
