Just got my XJ CD - beautiful thing! Had lots of pictures regarding the banner sent around the world in a backpack in 2000. Anyone interested in doing it again?

...and we'd be interested in you shelling out the $10 to buy your own copy.

I'm as cheap as the next guy, but come on.

well it was my understanding they aren't trying to make any money off it and people have had problems with sending them the money and having to wait weeks or months to get it so id rather not deal with that it seems like they wouldn't care.

I tink they might. If you found it somewhere other than this site and sent them $10? I dunno.

Len, our local parts guy has the factory manuals for at least some of the XJ's and at least mine is a sight to behold. I love it. I think it was less than $60 delivered to my PO box.

Bump! Back to the original post. I like penguins!

I got my factory 550 manual off eBay for a whopping $15, complete with grubby fingerprints. I like it a lot better than my brand-new $69 factory 650 book. (I guess I gotta supply my own fingerprints.)

I find paper manuals (especiallly if they've been sliced apart and 3-hole punched) to be much more practical in the garage than the laptop.

 8O Go to XJ Chat and look at the first sticky! I live in Oz and I got mine from the Canadian guy in about 10 days. Statesiders have their own man in Arlington.

Anyway back to my question...there was a web site about the XJ around the world thing, does anyone have the link? I'd like to kick this off again.
