I want to get rid of my bulky brake light and just use red rear turn signals for the brake indicators as well. So they both light up when it put on the brake. How would I need to wire this? Would I just run both brake wires to the blinkers as well? Do i need Diodes? Thanks.

You'll need a 5 wire to 4 wire light converter. Places that sell trailer light supples have them (auto parts stores, some WalMarts etc).

I think you'll probably have to replace the signal flasher with an electronic one and will lose the auto cancel.

Does anyone have a schematic of what the wiring should look like, with putting both brake light and blinkers together?

Without buying that box, using their colors as an example, I think it can also be done by splicing the RED stop wire from your brake switch in to the green and yellow wires for the turn signals. This way, there is a common ground, and when you apply the brakes, a signal is sent to both turn signals instead of a brake light.

    Anyone?

    check your local laws!!!

its a violation here to use red for turn indicators. only bikes
over a certain age ( like the 70's ) are exempt.

just another policy to create a world of "follow the leader" drones.
