I'm putting new bars on my Seca 750 today and am not sure how to remove the throttle and clutch controls. I have loosened the two screws on the bottom and can slide the control pod, but there is not enough slack in the cables to slide it off the bar. The manual I have isn't very detailed and I don't want the control pod to just fall apart in my hands if I start loosening screws.

What's the best way to get the L and R control pods off the bars?

Take the screws completely out of the clutch side box and it will open like a clam. Then undo the bar clamps, and slide the bars out of the loosened left-side controls.

    Done and done. Thanks!

These Renthals are much more narrow than the stock bars.
