I'm in no hurry, but am looking for a Seca 650 tank. Missed out on a couple on Ebay a while back, but now I'm getting a bit more serious. Let me know whatcha got. Thanks.

I've got two xj650rj fuel tanks. One has a couple of small dents with stock silver paint and stripes. No petcock or cap. The other is mostly primered but very straight, includes petcock but no cap. Both have minimal rust inside or out. $100 bucks for both and I'll throw in a very nice right side cover. I'm in the DC metro, 250 miles north of you.

    Regards,
    Furyus

As a matter of fact, drive on up and I'll include a complete shaft drive assembly from a turbo 650 (all black in very nice shape), a matching black brake housing, shifter and brake pedal from a turbo, a rack of crusty yet rebuildable carbs (from a n/a Seca, not turbo), a wiring harness and other sundry bits and pieces, all for $100.00.

Joel07 gets first shot, but I'll make this same offer to anyone else, too.

    Regards,
    Furyus

Wow, if I thought I had time to make the drive, I'd definetly do it!! 250 miles is a bit too much of a road trip for me right now though.

Chacal, thanks for the offer, the 750 tank will fit, but I like the smaller 650 tank better.

How much would you take for just one of the tanks? I really don't need two, and don't need the side cover. Thanks...

$70 shipped? Problem is, which do you want? One has really nice original paint, decals and emblems, but also a dimple on top and a slight crease on the left side. The other has no paint to speak of, but is very straight and includes the petcock. Both have minimal rust inside and none outside (both were purchased from the southwest US). I can take pictures, but not for a few days.

If stock paint isn't an issue, I think the primered tank is nicer, inside and out.

If you need a headlight, I've got one complete assembly, including lens and ears, plus an extra housing, bezel and chrome ring in absolute mint condition (see pics further down the forum).

    Regards,

I would probably get the primered one, since it'll be a custom paint job anyway. No rush on the pics, I don't really NEED the tank until early '07 anyway...
