I am wondering if the seafoam I have added to my gas tank could be causing this whitish colored smoke emitting from my exhaust. I have been hitting the carbs pretty hard with the stuff and wondered if this was the cause?

Sure can be - if you've got it mixed running 50% or better seafoam, it wouldn't surprise me - that's what I had.

I sure hope that's what it is, because I just added seafoam to my tank tonight, and it's putting out some white exhaust. As a side note, that whitish exhaust will give you a hell of a headache if you are not very well ventilated. I had the garage completely opened up, and it still got to me. I had to drink a bunch of beer to help it out! :)

I've also learned that the whitish colored smoke can be from condensation which is ejected from the pipes when the hot air from the engine causes it to evaporate. Either way, I'm laying off the seafoam for a while. I think my float bowls are clean enough to eat soup out of. :)
