Changed the oil in all the cages today.

Backed my wife's Mountaineer out of the garage and down to the end of the driveway so I could pull the next vehicle in. Left a trail of oil 6" wide and 50 feet long.

Turns out it is a real good idea to make sure the gasket from the old filter is off before installing the new filter.

Cleaning up that mess sure cut into my riding time.

Look at the bright side ... even though you didn't do the "Leak test" before moving the rig ...

What if you didn't move it, answered the phone, got distracted, she grabbed the keys and took-off to go do some shopping. Ouch!

You feeling better 'bout cleanin'-up a little spilt oil; now???

LOL, yeah, had that happen to me with my sister's Escort one time. We did the "leak check" when we fired it up, oil was going EVERYWHERE!!

At least you caught it before it ran dry though.

Left a nice trail from my Rabbit back in 92 doing the same thing. Check every time I pull the filter now. Stupid lesson to learn, especially since others have gone before us... guess that means I should write about all of my goofs.
