REAL good restoration candidate here; just have to go through it and do all the standard stuff. Only real 'blem' is the dent in the RF of the tank.

I'm afraid adding $600+ to get it transported cross-county would push it beyond reason.

It's still going to need tires, brakes (including shoes, pads, LINES and both M/C and caliper rebuilt) probably a chain, carbs gone thru again, valve cover gasket and donuts, valve check and adjust, the tach drive will start leaking as soon as you start riding it again, etc.

But it shore 'nuf is georgeous. Someobody out there could really have a nice bike when they were done.

 

I swore off the earlier model xj's, but I'd buy this sucker.
