I wasnt going to reveal anything but since something has changed with a mate of mine.... ie him breaking our old bike.. yes our... joint effort.. I thought well let me give you all a taste and show you a bit about what is going on my bike.. please note I am repainting the body work again!!! so the paint job on the tank.. mudguards (front and rear) are going to be changed.. although I am not sure I will use the rear one as its slightly too big.. I bought a billy lane one which suits my 700 maxim better... but here is the photos of it on the custom harley.

I will or might show you some of it mocked up on mine later... hmmm depends if your nice or not!

It's going to look even better once you get the saddlebags, windshield and backseat on it (wasn't that stock in that model?)
And that year had an optional trailer hitch too!!! LOL

good/bad news... we decided on not ripping that bike apart... although.. I got the seat.. horrah! .... lol ... but I did rip another apart.. well here are the photos.. best to show you ... I am unsure I like the tank shape.. forget about the colour .. that will all be changed anyway.. and yes they are actually painted.. not decals..etc.

I dont like that colour scheme either.. but that will change if I keep the tank and kit.. otherwise its all going up for sale!!!

I am looking for a specific kinda.. maybe even has to be a custom tank.. but arrrgh.. I just dont think this is it..

will put it up to the bike. and see how it looks.. if its too short.. I will sell it to someone who wants a bobber project.. but hey.. all is good right..

WellI gone down yesterday to see if they would be what I was after and sadly not.. this is more suited for a bobber project than a chopper one... so its up for sale .. I listed this on fleabay.. I am not happy about selling it so quick but it just isnt for me.!!! oh well another one bring it on.
