    Anyone here a member?

I'm considering joining because it might be more my crowd than the riding group I currently belong to (open to all but a lot of Harley wannabes).

You will find alot of VJMC members around the country if you join. Each region is encouraged to have events to keep members' interest up. As an example, in the Piedmont section of NC in the next several months we will be having the following:
4/17 A classic and vintage cruisein at Spartanburg Harley (SC). This will be our third year of participation in their open house. They invite us each year!
5/1 The Carolina Classic Motorcycle Show in Spencer, NC at the Transportation Museum. A really good time.
5/14-15 Antique Motorcycle Club National Meet in Denton, NC
6/26 Annual Vintage motocyle cruise in at Gold Hill, NC.

This should give you an idea of what can be done. By the way, VJMC membership is not required for these events. We want the old bikes out, not matter, and we want riders to enjoy the comraderie of our shared hobby.
If anyone needs more info just PM me and I"ll hook you up!
One more thing. The VJMC participartion at the Barber Vintage Festival is my favorite event of all. I have meet some great people there and always hate to see it end.

How are they about bikes that have been put back on the road but are not stock any longer?

It Depends on the event. As an example the Saturday show at Barber is for bikes that are original or have been restored to original. Tentative plans for this years event is to have a modified show on Friday.
All of the events I listed above are open to one and all except maybe the Antique Club event. I don't know what they have planned.
