I don't know if its the same as my 550 but im guessing its close.
The little plastic box in hte back underneath the seat that opens with your key. Open that box up usually keep your insurance what ever soda? Inside tha box on the top there are 2 rubber straps that go up to the seat. Pull up and back on those straps so they come off the hooks on the seat once those are removed.
Pull the seat back then up and off.
Hopefully the 750 is the same as the 550 in that area i'm sure more people will chime in soon.

    Krash

    hey Krash,

Thanks for the reply I had the 550 last year, had no problem getting the seat off. Like you said key to open the box unhook the straps...

The Midnight Maxim, doesn't have they same set up... It's two screws, unscrewed them and nothin!

hope others might know.. Thanks for the reply.

On my 81 you simply turn the key on the helmet lock the other way. It may be frozen if nobody changed the air filter or fuses in a long time and it sat outside.

There are latches on each side. As padre said one is part of the helmet lock. Mine are wornout and don't need to unlock it.
