I have a really hard time getting any of the usual tire pressure gauges I have squarely on to the rear tire valve on the rear tire of my '82 XJ1100J....
With the brake disc on one side and the shaft drive hub on the other, combined with the spokes of the wheel itself nothing seems to fit in there very well.

Curious what brand and model everyone else uses....pics would be nice too. I tend to prefer something of high quality and reliability if possible.

No offense, but I'm not looking for thoughts here...just gauges that actually fit based on your experience actually using them on this particular make and model of bike...they're all a little different.

A regular stick gauge will fit, just hold it almost parallel with the wheel, between the brake rotor and the rim. Also, some parts stores carry the short version of the stick gauge, which makes it even easier.

That's the best thing I've found so far too. I'm not a big fan of the stick gauges for accuracy reasons and I was hoping to find something better...
    Thanks!

Now that looks good. Most of those have an angle thing on the end and the angle is just too sharp to fit in there. I'll order one of these and try it. It looks like it would work.
BTW, does it screw on or push on?

It clips on the valve stem. You can also add and remove air with it installed. Your local auto parts store should have something similar to that one, Wal-Mart and K-Mart also.

I went to the website page and looked at it.

Did anyone read the review lower down the page?

Makes you wonder if it was an accurate review or just a gripe....

Yup, I saw that too. I think I might be able to find one similar but better quality though.
