This is not related to anything XJ other than the fact that I own one. What it is, is a link to a video of me when I used to race a Vintage 1972 Honda CB350 twin. This is the first part of one of the races, due to the amount I can upload at one time, I will add more as I'm allowed or depending on the comments whether I should be posting them here at all. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them. I posted these on another forum and someone pointed out that other viewers should keep an eye on the Tach, after I looked myself I noticed that I kept that little 350 pinned WFO most of the time!
    Enjoy.

Hey, those vids bring back some memories. I had a '72 CB350 back in the day and wish I still had it. Those were some great bikes and even though they were only a 350, they are some of the best bikes on the road back then. Plenty fast for their size and handle like a charm.
    Thanks!! Keep the vids coming.

That is some great footage. Looks like a lot of fun. That red jacket in front has it on you in the straights but you were getting close under braking. Can't believe how clear the video is.

Hey guys, thanks for the positive responses. I'm just uploading the second race of the day in which my little 350 does battle with a bunch of bigger bikes. I've no chance of beating these guys, but we are allowed to "BUMP" up a class to get more track time.
Most of the bikes I'm up against are GPZ 550 Kawasakis, 500-550 Suzuki GPS's, 500 Honda fours and I think there were even a couple of 600 Yammy, big single thumpers too.
The free Vimeo site does take forever to upload though, over an hour for this file which is only 224 Mb's. I think if I buy a paid suscription my files will load faster, but I usually start the upload just before I go to bed, so no biggie.
The first 6 minutes or so are slow to watch, getting ready to race, waiting in pit row, warm up lap, so if you can fast forward do it. Then it's onto the racing. I start in the "Second wave" because there are so many bikes out on the track, but man it was fun.

The very first bike I bought on my own was a honda 350 enduro. It was 5 different colors but ran and was only $75 lol. Great bikes with mine we had three in the family at once.

Pretty cool to see people racing on tracks as opposed to doing wheelies without helmets and a passenger (on the highway).
