What is a good example of Silicone Grease to ask for that's used with rubber gaskets? I've come across several mentions of it but asking for it at the auto parts stores got me blank looks from the counter guys.

    Thanks!

Try asking for O-ring Lubricant or Grease.

Found a can of this stuff at O'Reilly's... They didn't have it on display, just in the back somewhere. This was 2 years ago, and I still have half of a can left. This stuff goes a long way.

Dielectric grease is silicone based too. Is that ok to use when people suggest silicone?
