Hey all. Just want to say hello to everyone out there. I'm a new rider in New Jersey. I'm very excited that there is a site out there dedicated to the Maxim/Seca bikes. Looking forward to gathering with you all online! :D

Glad to have you here Woolsac.

How long you've been riding your Seca? I don't think we got any XJ Seca's in our Photo Gallery. Sure would be a nice addition

That is a good looking 82 XJ with very low miles. It's almost like a brand new bike :). Is that original paint?

No, that is one thing that has been altered. I do believe the original owner tried matching the paint, which he did a good job too. Also, I believe that there was rust on each of the exhaust pipes. Instead of buying new ones, the owner welded on patches to the pipes and spray painted chrome over it. pretty getto, but works :)

Where in NJ are you from, I live in Easton, Pa just across the NJ/Pa line. Nice looking bike, I'm just finishing an '85 XJ700 Maxim X, hope to get some pics of it up here soon.

I live in Morristown, off of Rt 287, which is right off of Rt 78/80. Have a few friends who graduated schools out there; Laffayette/Lehigh. Nice to meet you and cant wait to see a pic of the maxim.
