1982 xj650 bobber $700 , *** SOLD SOLD SOLD ***

I have an 82 maxim bobber/chopper for sale if anyone is looking for one.The bike is about 80- 90%complete i have all the parts you need except the clutch and front brake cable,and a battery just don't have everything on it yet.Heres a list of what i have done to it and the parts i have.

hardtailed by professional bike shop
new spring solo seat
new grips
new throttle sleeve
new cams
new cam chain
new sprockets
new gaskets
new exhaust seals
new rear fender
new 15" ape hangers (black)
new chopper style side mount license plate holder
new 2.4 gal peanut tank (kreemed)

new brake and clutch handles
used side kickstand
4 used header pipes (black)
new tail light
new oil filter
new pod filters

no lowballin me i will take serious bids on this bike ,if it doesn't bring what i want i will keep it i don't need the money,i will post pics up by this weekend as soon as the rain stops and storms go through.This bike is located in central kentucky i will not ship it if you want it bring cash in hand and take it away.

also forgot new starter button /kill switch controls on handle bars,and new set of mirrors

Seems to me like you wasted everyone's time with this thread. How can anyone possibly know if they seriously want to buy your bike without seeing it?

so glad you asked ole wise one,you should know if your in the market for a bike,you should know if your in the market for a bobber,a hardtail,thats common sense the problem with this site is too many assholes on here who like to window shop and throw out their two cents about a bike they have no serious interest in ,cause they don't even have money to buy a bike,for anyone who is in the market i will send them some pics

know and ride with also "may know" someone that might
be looking for a bobber.
It's called "networking" welcome to the 21st century.
Good luck with the sale-you may not get much help here though.

not at all ,but what bothers the hell out of me is 5 people and some of those did it more than one time have posted on my thread with absolutely no desire to buy a bike,yet they just want to trash me and my thread even though they have no lives other than surf around making random comments when it in no way affects them they are not buying anyway

Take it as constructive criticism, if you want to sell your bike be courteous and answer peoples questions. I for one would have been more than interested in possibly buying it but with an attitude like that I am thinking to take my business elsewhere. If you havent noticed at all on this site, everybody is pretty much all for helping eachother out. I have only been registered on here for a couple days and I noticed it. You have been here for about a year and haven;t seemed to have caught on. Thats just my 2 cents. If I offended you sorry but thats life.

As it happens,I'm a member of the Modified Motorcycle
Association of Arizona.
Our membership is around 1200. I may not be able to count
them all as friends, but as the name implies we are very much about "modified' bikes.
I would have liked to help you sell your bike to someone
that would have appreciated the work and effort you have done
with it.
But your not half as much interested in friendly help as much as
trying to start a problem.
I still wish you luck in the sale of your bike and hope it go's to some-
one with a little more maturity.

Unfortunatly danno, this fellow 's BP is fine. We've all seen this
before-he has found away to push some buttons (mine included )
and for him this is fun- angering people for pleasure.
I fell for his trap and I'm but :lol: because now I'll be more careful in the future.

This site is full many fine people that make up for the occasional
prick or two :wink:

Actually, my father in law is looking for an xj bobber and is willing to pay good money for one. I'm a little disappointed to check out this thread and read such negativity from the SELLER none the less......

I guess there's a bad egg in every bunch, or maybe every one is entiltled to a bad day, but even still, I will advise my father in law to take his business elsewhere.....

9 people. And Rookie, please no expletives. Thats not what we're about. I hope you find a buyer but it will be difficult with the attitude. Drop it and post some pics. Some people are just interested in what others are doing in the community. If you don't want to be part of the community, go somewhere else. Its that easy.

there was pics in my gallery until i took it off xjbikes and put it on ebay for sale,but way to come to the party late and make a dumbass comment i expect nothing less from you guys at this point,this site alone has just about turned me against the bikes all together,and they have the nerve to talk about harley guys

It baffles me why anyone would post a thread with something for sale (not just you rookie....) and not include pics. did you put pics on your ebay ad - or did you say email me for some pics? i bet i know the answer.

let me first start by saying i could care less about your personal opinion of me you don't know me yet want to judge me,that shows something about you as a person.Second of all as stated several times previously i could not post pics at the time i was flooded in and couldn't get to the bike,but people on here can't read and are super quick to jump the gun and judge people so let em and for that matter you too.Saving my property was slightly more important to me and my family than getting some pics posted up for a few days but i guess you can't comprehend that,so be it i will be gone from your site soon enough as soon as i finish the deals i have made with those members that don't have their heads up their ass like you
