Well folks, lets see your workspace and the equipment you have, let me start.

I have a modest garage, that usually has about 4 or 5 bikes in it (not all mine) a nice sturdy workbench and plenty of tools. The only thing that I don't have and my (getting older) back needs is a bike lift!

Workbench with tool boxes vice and parts cleaner. (there is also a 100 year old meat mincer on the end of the bench...dont ask)

Socket sets screwdrivers etc mostly Teng tools
    [IMG]

The precision stuff, verniers, micrometers, dial gauges torque wrenches

and that thing in the middle is a yamaha vavle tool for shimming valves

    and finally some power tools,

Makita drill and torque wrench ancient black and decker hand drill and my old faithful bench grinder. Oh the drill bits are cobalt which seem to drill just about anything.

    right...whose next!

I don't have to post a pic for mine, everyone knows what a driveway looks like.

Mine's a huge mess right now. It tends to get that way when I work in it and don't finish the project the same day

. It's a small rented garage. Two kayaks hanging from the roof. A trailer I've yet to get plates for leaned up against the wall, work bench, a decent assortment of tools shoved into a too small craftsman tool box. Some larger tools scattered about. Barely enough floor space for my bike because of the spare tire and two complete axle assemblies for my jeep.

I'll get a picture up later.

i'll update with indoor pics later, right now all i have is this picture from while i was building it:

    edit:

ok, here's some indoor pics - sorry they're so huge and kinda blurry. it's the best i can do with my cell-phone.

a view from the northwest corner:

a view from the southwest corner:

here's my workbench - i used 3 different drawer designs to hang under the bench. so far i think the drawer on the left is working out the best. if you couldn't tell - i work at an OSB mill, get to take home downgrade board and scraps from testing for free. (one nice job perk):

here's a shot of my stove. bought a rolling CB750 frame with a seized engine for $10 and put the jugs to good use. the metal holds the heat well, and the cooling fans help spread the heat out:

i also wanted to show off the cabinet i made for MC stuff. note the latch is an old license plate, and the handle is a decorative piece from the front of the CB750. here it is closed:

    and here it is open:

skeeter....DROOLING! Niiice! I've taken over 80% of the oversized 3 bay garage @ home...leaving just enough space for the wifey's Honda Civic! Pretty basic tools, the most important one is the beer fridge and the Altec Lansing ipod dock/speakers!

I wouldn't rent it. I'd be happy to lend it!!! Same with any of my tools We're in it together right?

I bought the carbtune a couple of years ago, I think it was only £40. (around $65 I think) bought it direct from the manufacturers in Ireland.

And Skeeter....DAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMNNNNNNNN!!!! Thats a mighty fine looking garage there!!!!

This is where all of us go for our wrenching.
[IMG]It used to be in our spare bedroom but the lady was starting to get a bit uptight about that. And by uptight, I mean I am lucky I got myself,my parts, and all of my tools out of there in one piece. Gawd, you'd think the smell of a motorcycle shop in the morning would be a good thing. Oh well. Now it smells of foofy fabreez and lilacs.

The first thing I hear from my wife when I get back from my garage is "Were you cutting metal again?" I don't even notice a smell.

Not ideal! At least theres a nice peice of carpet to kneel on. Anyone who has looked at my gallery will know any parts I could take inside ended up in my wifes laundry room and fortunately my job means I have lots of engineering tools at work (I am an Electrical engineer).

We also have a lab which was very handy as a source of alcohol used for my carb cleaning!

The downside is they get transported by bicycle!

One of two things are gonna happen now, I clean up the mess so I can show my garage or (more than likely) I'll leave it in the mess it is in and not post any pictures.

thanks for noticing. now scaffolding in the back of a truck is a real trick.

being that i did 90% of the work myself - alone - i got pretty dang creative with clamps.

i cannot stress this enough - a man can never have enough clamps.
