I wanted to post a review with some pics of this trunk, as I couldn't find much info available online before buying mine.

    Manufacturer's Link.

First off, I don't want to get any comments about the way it looks. I didn't buy it for the looks. I'm a student right now, and I have to make the 15 minute trip to the lab or to the campus at least every day, sometimes more. As you all know, it's much more fun to do that on 2 wheels instead of 4. So the trunk is great for storing the helmet (instead of lifting up a saddlebag to attach to the lock, or to carry around campus) and storing my backpack while driving, instead of wearing it. This trunk is huge, big enough to fit two full sized helmets inside. All that being said, I've actually started to grow to like the looks, probably because I love its functionality so much. If you need some large storage on your bike, I definitely recommend this one.

Anyways, some pictures for those interested. These were taken with my phone, so not great quality, but they do the job.

I am with you, I just installed one on my 1986 XJ700 and it is great all the crap you can carry.
I installed the one from Sears/JC Whitney.
I agree the looks are different but like yourself it is more function than looks.
One question....what is the can you have in the trunk ?
    Nice job!
