Does anyone know a source for aftermarket gauges? I'm looking to clean up the driver's view by replacing the original oem gauges with modern, smaller digital stuff when I get around to pimping-out the old Maxim.

Dakota Digital makes toys for cars and I'm sure they would have something not too far off for use on a bike. I am also aware of digital gauges from Equus, namely a tach someone gifted me with but I've yet to find a use for. Another option would be Stewart Warner, but I'm not aware of their entire product line. A quick google check shows they do make digital units. Best of luck to you though a word of caution. Digital gauges were used in the early eighties and most manufacturers figured out they didn't stand up to the rigors of vehicle applications. Recent improvements seem to have cleared this issue up. Don't be tempted to buy older units.

Thanks. I was going to look for modern aftermarket items, rather than chance it with older used units. If I get the old Maxim back on the road, I want it to stay that way. ;)

These look like a good deal. Between $119 - $129 you can't beat it.
