Hello again.. well now I have 2 1984 XJ750 Seca's I must be nuts..lol .. my problem is its getting a good spark on all cylinders bike runs great then the next time I start it it looses the spark on the 2 right cylinders, mess with the spark plug wires by taking them off and on and then I get the spark coming again and the cylinder firing again.. put in new plugs BP7ES, I know this isn't much info.. but maybe this has happened before..
    Thxs in advance..

    Jim

The first thing to check is the caps and the ends of the wires. The caps actually screw onto the ends of the wires, there is a threaded spike inside the cap that screws into the core of the wire.

Unscrew the offending caps from their wires, carefully lop off about 1/4" of the end of the wires, and screw the caps back on (don't overtighten and strip out the ends of the wires.)

Since one coil fires #1 and #4 and the other fires #2 and #3 you can eliminate the coils if it's doing it on #3 and #4.
