    I love that 2nd bike- i think its a 900.

but your bike's lights, gauges, and handlebars are different

Re: Do U guys know what modifications this Seca has?

The second bike is a 900 with an upsidown fork, I'm not seeing calipers, so it's not finished. The rear of the frame is removed and tail light relocated. round headlight and bars, the big triple gauge is missing.
    Clean streetfighter look.

Re: Do U guys know what modifications this Seca has?

The seca750 you posted, has a 4 into 1 exhaust manifold, Clubman handlebars. The headlight has been converted from the two square headlights to a single 7" round headlight with brackets made and added to original headlight bracket mounts in order to lower the stance of the headlight. And it is REALLY REALLY SHINY CLEAN...

your bike is sweet.I wouldn't change to much,or destroy the parts you have.Trade them or sell, they are in demand.Like the nice shiny chrome.

But maybe as a result of those clubmans bars - make sure you can't trap your hands when maneuvering. (sp?)

I cann't say I've seen rims like that before..
Looks to me like they're going to have about 3k into parts and another 250 to 300 hrs of work.

I think I've seen that 900 before, or maybe another one, where you relocate the factory tail light under the seat to fill in the hole.

The light appears black in this picture, maybe the sides were painted to "stealth" it out some.

Re: Do U guys know wat modifications *these SecaS hav? *upda

    slightly OT:
I like the performance of upside down forks but the reliability always grates on my psyche. blow a seal and you can hardly ride 'em home. Sure, that happens once in a blue moon but when it does you lose all your fork oil right away. Can't stand to be stranded.

Also that last pic, before heavy mods was what? a Virago? It's got "our" wheels and shaft but the single front disc and something else looks out of place too.
oh yeah the V-twin. I have no idea which one, maybe even an RH but it's for sure an XV.

I'm pretty sure that was a virago 920- it's a virago version of either the seca 750 or 900, i cant remember, but i think it's got the rear rim kit on hte front, so only 1 disc

I like the mono-shock on the twin. I no longer have an air box there is this big hole under the seat. Does anyone know or has anyone put a mono-shock on there Maxim?

look in the mods section, pretty recently someone posted a 550 with a mono shock- though you have a shaftie- and welding on that shaft cove could be iffy

they are standard rims on the older XJ900's - thats whats on mine (1984)
but damn, that 2nd one looks nice. That is the front end conversion i am wanting to emulate. Looks something like GSX-R750 Forks and Trees, is a fairly straight forward swap. Love the gold tubes too, looks great with the gloss black.
