Subject says it all. I don't think Clymer makes one, but is there a decent manual out there for the 82 Seca 400?

That's for the SOHC, I've been looking for a Clymer or Haynes manual for my 83 Maxim 400 which is the DOHC as well and can't find one on either of their websites. You may just need to get the factory service manual as your best bet. I did pick up that haynes for some general help though.

Single Overhead Cam versus Double Overhead Cam. Essentially it's one or two cams.

+1 What Ghost said, it's for an 82 seca 400 but they're the same engine as we have. It's the one I use.

Re: 82 xs400r Seca Clymer or similar. Is there such a creat

OK you DOHC guys. While looking for the manual for my SOHC XS400 (which started for the first time yesterday :D) I found and downloaded the 317 page factory service manual in pdf format for the 82 XS400 Seca DOHC. It's printed in English, French and German. The file is 80 mb so it's too large to email.

You guys can have copies if we can figure out a way to transfer it. Maybe PM'ing me with your address and I'll burn the file to a CD and return it to you.
