So a friend turned my ear and mentioned this place for leather goods
    Jafrum Leather

So I'm liking what I see, and the prices are - to be honest - shockingly low. Did a little research around, and everyone who's bought goods from them seems to be very happy with the quality too, especially their luggage.

Just wondering if anyone's got any first-hand experience here with any of their leather goods or helmets (a modular flip-up helmet DOT approved for less than $70??).

[justify]I bought a helmet from them, it is OK, I bought a Large one from them, I had previously tried on an HJC helemt of the same size, I even measured my head, so I went with the large from Jafrum and it was very tight, other than the helmet I bought was good and I bought a pair of gloves also that are pretty good. Hopes this helps you. i would say as a primary helmet it is not as good quality as HJC but as a secondary helmet it is sufficient. This is a good sight for Helmets http://www.extremesupply.com/hjchelmets ... tscl15.htm

I bought a helmet form them with no problems - its just a regular full face, fits good no problems at all. I've also bought 2 sets of sadle bags and for the price they are amazing. Check them out on ebay you get a little better deal on there. leatherny is the ebay username

Yes I have bought a sissy bar bag two helmets with the flip up chin piece two extra tinted face sheilds for the price of $159 with shipping. I first found them on e-bay and bought a set of saddle bags for $30 but shipping was $15. The bags were too big for my bike but didn’t want to pay the shipping back then only get refunded the $30. Everything I got was good and I was happy with them but I will only buy from direct not through e-bay.

Hey Marty - if you got the flip-up helmets, which ones did you get?
    The 608 series ($50), or the 80 series ($70)?
And what do you think of them so far?

I got the cheaper 608 I really like them. Both my girlfriend and I wear glasses and it makes it easy to put them on and off. If we stop for a break or she is running to the bathroom I can smoke a cigarette with out taking off my helmet. I have rode a little ways with it open to get some air just feels a little different with the chin piece on top of your head. You can talk to some one with it up a lot better too. I couldn't see that much difference in the 80 and the 608 and I couldn't compare them hands on so I just got the cheaper one. Works great I won't go back to a full face. I got a extra pair of rainbow sheilds with them but haven't tried them yet.
    Hope this helps

I just got my gloves in from jafrum.com. I bought a set of gauntlets with 3M thinsulate lining for this winter. Went for a ride last night to check them out and they were great! After about an hour only my thumb on the throttle hand was cold. These are the one I bought:

I also got my brother-in-law a set of gel palm riding gloves for Christmas. He should love those! I would say that the sizes run a little small. I bought a set of large based on their sizing chart with the intent of using an insert. The large fit fairly snug and an insert will be quite a squeeze. I was at the top of the medium size chart so measure your hand and adjust accordingly.
Overall the quality is excellent and I can find no mistakes. Only one complaint and that is that the clip to clip the gloves together is plastic so it won't last long. But I have the metal clip from my old gloves so I'll swap them out once the plastic one breaks.

I got a pair of leather pants from them after hearing a recommnedation from a coworker who rides. Seem to be good quality, and you can't beat the price! Now my boys don't cringe when I stand up off the bike... :D

Just got 2 half helmets today from Jafrum. They are both very poor quality and don't think they are DOT. I would would never buy a helmet from a cheap ebay seller. I spoke to a guy named Mohammad over there, he sounded like he knew they were not DOT but could care less he was putting the lives of people at risk.

I would never trust anything from this site, so cheap and poorly made on every level.

I had a helmet from there and was not happy with the fit. Helmets aren't something to cut corners on. On a plus, I was able to return it no problems.
