    Hi people with Yamahahaha's, I recently came across a 1984 xj650k sitting in a garage, been ridding for about a month now and i love it . downside last week after a few minutes of running the 1 ignition coil heats up and shuts down , dealers and the other popular venders want $140 plus shipping for one , i was going to replace both , but not at tha price, any other ideas where i can get new coil packs , I real thought i shoild be able to get a pair of aftermarket for under $100 any thoughts or sugestions, Thanks Ray from Albany Ny

    PM the user chacal with your model/year and parts list and/or read his long post in the XJ4Ever sub forum.

    Len (chacal is his forum name) has what you seek.

    His catalog is here: http://www.xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic ... rt=15.html

    About 1/3rd of the way down there's this:

    HCP245 Dyna high-output green IGNITION COILS, set of 2
    $ 119.00

    You send him a PM and he'll get you a quote.

    He's also very quick and thorough with his quotes.
    Just be sure to tell him year/model and try to describe what you want (or pictures even - i.e. my master cylinder - which might not be OEM style).

    You won't find a more knowledgeable, service oriented supplier anywhere. While I was doing my Seca. I would order parts on Saturday or Sunday and I would literally have the parts in hand around Wednesday!

    Len makes this possible. Yamaha does support our bikes, but to a limit.
