I have tried for months to sell this bike with no luck. Now i am thinking of changing it a little. I need picture ideas of what to do. What i am aim ing at is a style sort of like a cafe racer with more comfort. I want it to handle well, and maybe let it be a little louder. Going to take out the air box, rejet, repaint, Maybe find some kind of a rear wheel mod for disc brake, any picture ideas would be helpful before i start the tear down.

So you want to spend $100's of dollars to TRY to sell your bike, knowing you will get ZERO return on investment if not negative?

Sounds more like you want to fix it up so you can keep it :)

Keeping it is the second option, that is what i am looking at. I don't want it to remain just an XJ650 though, i want it to be different if i keep it. Seems that there is not much of a call for the XJ650 out there.

I'd just ride it the way it is and enjoy it.

My friend's 850 Special has a rear disc brake. You might want to look into purchasing the whole unit off Ebay.

SWMBO has added a pink tank bag, and a purple backpack, LOL

She wants everyone to know it's a chick's bike!
