Would it be worth it to pick up the dual disks if I were to add SS lines to the front end?

I can get the frame, forks with brakes, front wheel, and motor minus carbs and exhaust from a 750 seca for $50. Is it worth my while?

I have heard mixed things. Not sure if its really worth it. I mean I would love to have the motor to rebuild then just swap in but if the brakes would make a HUGE difference is the only way I would do it.

I have a 750 Seca with the bigger brakes, aftermarket pads, stainless lines, and hidden Master Cyl, and it stops pretty good with a nice, firm feel.
You're getting alot of stuff for $50 !!

Which Master Cyl would you plan on using, as there's a bit of incompatibility with the 750 unit.

If I did the swap, I was planning on using the whole setup off the 750. Not sure if I am going to do it because I don't have a place to store it all before I do it...

Wish I had a shed. I am lucky there is room for my bike inside the garage.

You will need a dual disc master cylinder (larger bore) instead of using the stock single disc master cylinder that comes on the Maxim.
