    Both Front and Rear.

The Proper Level at the Final Drive
    Fill it right up slow.
When the Oil Level arrives at the top of Fill Hole, ... that's the right Level.
If you pour too much in, ... let it drip out until it stops dripping.

A Haynes manual is $20, it should be the FIRST tool/part you get! Saves you having to ask a multitude of questions that take time to answer...
Let me see if I can set the stage:
Write up question for forum, 10-15 minutes.
Wait for response and hope it covers the question adequately....who knows how long. Could be 15 minutes, could be two days.
I hope that $20 is looking well spent right about now. You are essentially buying time and saving money, and by saving money I'm referring to the parts that may have been broken or destroyed by improper removal/handling/installation/adjustment.
    Good luck Bdawwg!
