WTB: XJ550 Max RIGHT Side Cover

Any XJ'er have a right side cover to fit an '81 XJ550 Maxim? Preferably complete with decent tabs.

I don't want to futz with glassing one at this time.

I just fixed mine using a bold and piece of brake line. I just drilled out where the tab was, found a piece of brake line the same diameter as the tab on the other side, and a bolt w/nut that has a head just a bit bigger than the brake line. I cut the line to the length of the neck of the opposite side tab, drilled out where it mounts to, and put the bolt through the piece of brake line and nut behind the original tab mount and tightened it down.

I put some silicon spray on the new bolt/line tab just to keep it from breaking off again.

I will post what I did with pictures in a few weeks after I test it out to see how it holds up. I have had the cover off about 4 or 5 times so far without any problems.

 

I would love to be able to do that. However I do not have a right side plastic at all...
